Its mission is to provide service members, veterans, and their families and support networks with the skills and resources they need to build a strong financial future.The Foundation changes lives through financial education, matching grants to help families purchase a home, and short term assistance.

- PenFed Credit Union funds the PenFed Foundation's personnel and most operational costs, demonstrating its strong commitment to the programs we provide.
- Support for our programs come from both private and corporate donations.
- The PenFed Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization; donations are tax deductible.
